As our activities grow so will this list. North/South Trail Leg #1: We walked the first leg of the North/South trail. We start on roads, but by the end of our 4 mile trek, we had walked quite a bit through Burlingame Campgrounds. Can't wait to get on the trail again. Hope to see you all on the next leg. Mt. Tom Trail to the Mt. Tom Ledges: This is a wonderful hike to do in the fall. The Mt. Tom Ledges overlooks the forests of Arcadia which look beautiful when their leaves change. Narragansett Trail to Long Pond (Rockville): This is a really fun hike with some cool big boulders to climb. There are also two locations where we have to do some fairly easy rock climbing. Ben Utter Trail to Stepping Stones Falls (Arcadia): This is also a great hike. For those that hike it there is the reward of playing in the water at the falls at the halfway point. After a fun stroll in the woods we came to the falls where we jumped in to the upper pool and swam around. We found a cave under the falls and people took turns sitting in the cave and watching the falls from the inside. This is the hike you really want to go on on a humid day. Where will we go next?
