Equipment Lists
Here are lists of equipment necessary to partake in pack activities.
Day Hikes
Boots/Sneakers - It's important that all hikers have comfortable closed
toed footwear. No sandals should be worn on the trails.
Day pack or Fanny pack with pockets for water - It's real important that
hikers stay hydrated. We as parents must encourage plenty of water
consumption.
Trail snacks - Don't want any hungry hikers. Remember, when it gets
warm, chocolate will melt.
Towel - It's likely that our hikes may involve water fun.
Extra clothes - If you are or has a hiker who is likely to get wet, then
extra dry clothes are a necessity.
Bug spray
Sunscreen & lip balm
Overnight Camping
Car Camping
Fanny pack or day pack

Whistle (This is not a toy. It is a very important piece of safety
equipment)
Sleeping bag (Good for 0-400)
Tent (Big enough for adult, scout and gear)
Tarp or old shower curtain to protect bottom of tent
Foam pad for sleeping on
Hiking Camping
Day Camps
You must provide a lunch everyday. There is no refrigeration, so
make sure that the lunch can sit out for a couple hours. A freezer pack
or a juice box stored in the freezer overnight will keep your food cold.
Boots/Sneakers ONLY. No sandals, flip-flops.
Water shoes. The camp will not allow anyone into the water or
boating if they do not have water shoes. Buy them early these items will
sell out in the stores.
